It immediately became very obvious that this is a port of a mobile game. Still, this is the first time I see a cash shop being blatantly shoved in your face in a PS Vita game. There are mobile games that are worth porting to proper consoles, and there are those that aren't. This one isn't.

I can't tell you whether this is one of those freemium bullshit games where you can't win without microtransactions, because I didn't feel like playing long enough to find out. But even the amount of time that I did play felt very unrewarding despite the game showering me with "rewards". The actual battles are so short you don't get to actually start enjoying them. You spend more time in the map screen where you spend your resources on upgrading your units and the bus, which is what you're gonna be doing after every single battle. Surprisingly this game also doesn't perform very well. On a couple occasions it dropped to what felt like 12 FPS or so. Which is bizarre for a 16-bit game on a device that can handle PS3-level graphics.

If I have to say something positive about this game, I really liked the graphics and the music, and normally that would be enough to at least give this a full star, but the very existence of this game on Vita (and PS4) is just insulting. I consider this a poison, not a game.
