Without divulging much information about the overarching storyline, because i think that'd be a spoiler fest, "I Was a Teenage Exocolonist" was a game I took a gamble on when it was on sale for the Steam Spring Sale. And I am completely happy I did.

The game is gorgeous between the music and the art style, which resembles GRIS in a lot of ways, just with more defined lines, and the game plays very uniquely compared to other games. It is a choices matter game, it has a card game element(which I love), and there's exploratory stuff to do around the maps where you can collect goodies and information.

I hadn't heard of this game at all before and no one on my friends' list had played it, but I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an emotionally heavy narrative game that you can play through multiple times(in fact, it is encouraged to). I definitely highly recommend this game, it is worth it at full price, but if you're wary, it is definitely worth it on a sale.
