This is kind of subjective for people whoever hadn't played mario 1, learned its level design and layout, and gotten used to its physics. For me, I had a blast playing the game and unlocking levels to access more annoying enemies to send it people. The mechanics are not specified such as level roulette making it very annoying to get the same 1-3 level multiple times. The physics of mario 1 isn't the same as this game, but it's a mostly accurate recreation which is ok for me. I'm gonna love playing this game from time to time.
