I found this game incredibly creative in its platforming ideas. The overall theme of being shrunken down provides a decent foundation for the levels and worlds, but the developers really warp and expand on the idea every time.

The actual writing and characterization within the story is honestly dreadful and kept it from being rated a full 5 stars. My brother and I did not enjoy the two main characters and found the story itself a little meandering and flimsy. We effectively skimmed through it as we wanted to play more levels.

The cooperative aspect in this game is also done very well. It is definitely an improvement over their last game, A Way Out, which I also played with my brother. Fundamentally, the cooperative platforming gameplay in this game is fantastic and I would say, it rivals Nintendo quality. Unfortunately, the game is bogged down by a very odd and distracting story that really says nothing in the end. If they had managed an effective narrative about relationships, divorce, family, and love on top of the platforming, this game would be something very special. But they do not. Feel free to skip the cut scenes if you want, you are not missing very much.
