Shorter than the first game, the story isn't untouchable or anything but it's fun and a nice showcase for the ps5's potential. The one main complaint is that Miles sounds younger than he was in the 2018 game. You get used to it over the playthrough, its just weird. The story is predictable but has some good spider-man moments and there's a lot to enjoy from the gameplay side. Combat has a new added layer, the air tricks system is expanded on in this game, suit damage looks nice, and the game looks genuinely beautiful at times. It's not as replayable as the 2018 game though, this must have been the 5th playthrough (im not a psycho, i platinumed it when i played on ps4 and did it again when i got a ps5) and I definitely was running out of steam on this game. I normally never skip cutscenes but the game doesn't really start getting super interesting until 60% of the way through. I'd say its worth playing for anyone invested in the universe, on a gameplay level its all improved, and the story element is a little watered down but its still enjoyable.
