I think I deserve to give this game another shot, but this game just cannot do it for me. The clunky shooting, the downright horrendous subject matter that is brought out in gruesome detail just to say "guys look, adults are evil!"

But where other series usually go the extra mile on that being a narrative structure, UDG seeks to destroy and basically wear you down with graphic detail after graphic detail to disgust you with the world, but also just uncomfortable in a narrative sense as well, like watching Toko lust over Byakuya make this feel like less of a game I should take seriously and more like Danganronpa fanservice.

No hate on the two leads, but god the side characters and most of the children are beyond grating. You rarely feel that villanous connection you sometimes do with the big bads in other games, and just feel subjected to this neverending play that seeks to make you walk out of the theatre rather than expecting you to see it through.

This game is bad, and I would like to try it and see the credits one day, but the fact that this is so terribly rated speaks for itself. Don't hurt yourself and check various TW's before you even play this game. I quit after a pretty bad chapter just because this game exhausted me so.
