On GAA2: Episode 4
I'm not sure if I've just grown out of Ace Attorney, but this is the first time an AA game has bored me so much.
Almost none of the cases are interesting and the ones I liked were mid at best. I also do not like the new gameplay mechanics - Sholmes is hilarious as comic relief but his deduction segments are dumb as hell and just feels like padding. I could say the same for the jury system because every jury is an idiot whose judgement can be easily swayed by the dumbest things. They feel like gameplay mechanics that were added just for the sake of having something new and they add nothing valuable to the game. A lot of the dialogue are also unnecessary. And what's up with the overly-long animations? They're not fun to watch for a hundred times.
This game is so hard to finish because of how boring it is and the only reason I'm still playing is because I've wasted so many hours on it already to not see the end.
