certainly a step up from the original game play wise but also lost a bit of charm in some aspects in a way i cant explain

despite being the founder of its genre it is very different from the genres current state in a very engaging way. i found the art extremely charming, the love interests all have nice personalities that make one want to actually pursue them, which takes a surprising amount of effort too! and the rivalry feels more fun and challenging than most current otome "rivals", i found it extremely endearing and fun overall
