This is a huge step down from the first Larry: Wet Dreams. Where its predecessor had this juvenile and prepubescent humour that made you cringe (mostly in a "good way" is that a thing?) and roll with your eyes because the jokes are so bad, Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice is just bad. They cranked up the sexual innuendos and character behaviour to an inadequate twenty out of ten. Where Larry already went over the top in the first game, the new character Wang is just disgusting. Most of his lines aren't even witty in some way. He just flat-out describes sexual practices and other fetish stuff. Most of the girls are one-dimensional too, whereas in Wet Dreams Don't Dry they had at least some character. The puzzles range between easy clicking from solution to solution and "how the f should I have known this?". The story is not worth it and again they try to sprinkle in some backstory behind Larry's return from the 80s but it remains a funny screen instead of an explanation. The only thing I liked was the pop-cultural references to other games and movies and the Monkey Island 2-esque travel across three islands. Really brought me back to finding the four map pieces. In the end, I really had to force myself through the game though. Only try this game if you have a strong stomach for reeeally bad jokes and typical men.
