A strikingly beautiful puzzle-platformer, GRIS is definitely not for those who might just want a gameplay-focused experience. This is a slow paced, artful journey about a woman coping with loss, told within an emotional, but subtle set of circumstances in a truly unique looking world. The pseudo-religious or Greco-Roman architecture helps pull you into the environments, and small character moments and puzzles sell an already decent experience. While overall movement speed feels a bit sluggish, and sometimes the camera pulls too far back to see small details on how to progress, Gris is a game you should definitely take a little time out to get to.
