A thrilling survival horror classic that really understands the survival aspect of the genre. I was constantly running low on ammo on favorable weapons, having to balance my money and swap weapons to take out the chilling hordes of Necromorphs. The environments were usually fun to traverse, and the story was a little more interesting than DS1's more by-the-books boring romp. Sometimes running was an option this time, which was great, and the strong elements tying both games was a good carry over from what I loved about the first game. Much less frustrating and more unpredictable, Dead Space 2 is one of the better horror experiences to date.
