A truly scary and creepy game, no doubt. But after a while, despite the different locations in the game, it gets repetitive and mechanical in its approach. Great concept with the "alternate" spaces, but it was never really used to its fullest potential. The 2006 film adaptation does it better in this sole regard. Nonetheless, it is definitely a worthwhile horror experience and I'm looking forward to Silent Hill 2 even more!
