There’s a lot of literature out there that I can fully acknowledge as having great historical and material import but I still find just okay or even not worth reading in comparison to works that came after.

I deleted it cause it came off as rude and I didn't want to sound adversarial, I am glad you realized my intent. Just one of those things where I don't want to risk someone misjudging my tone, since we don't know eachother.

As to the lit point, I think there's reasons why classics are considered classics so I don't blame you for feeling that way. More to the point, we can credit the developers for being the first to push the medium in such a way. I think this illustrates my point though, that ratings are so arbitrary and a lot of people might not value things like that.

i was watching a mario odyssey analysis and the dude, not even 5 minutes into the video, compares it do dark souls and i immediately thought of this review lmao i hate these ppl
