Amazing JRPG. Gameplay does not exist. They took all the effort that would have gone into making good gameplay, then put that into charming characters, a wondrous world, and a satisfying story. The sequel is fanfiction.
This game is also unplayable unless you're on the steam release and have access to the 8x speedup and auto battle features. The postgame is worse than garbage. You might as well just enter a bunch of incrementing numbers into microsoft excel, and then pretend you're fighting a boss with 12 million HP and one attack.

Amazing rhythm based platformer that reminded me why I love videogames. It's pure gameplay from start to finish. No annoying characters, cringy dialogue, overlong cutscenes, tedious grind (unless you go for the mirror stages which have the restriction of one life). It's just damn good gameplay. For five dollars you really can't go wrong.
