after all these years I still can't believe this series of, like, extremely vapid simulators just dropped this hidden gem of a visual novel out of nowhere. Why was it like this? Why did the characters have so much depth? Why was the costuming so intricate? There were multiple endings!!!! Sometimes I still go back and play this. I want so badly to have been a fly on the wall at Ubisoft while this game was in development. What the hell happened here?

hiii i know this is like. a year old so you probably already found this out but this game was actually a localisation of a japanese game called Princess Ballerina: Yumemiru 4-nin no Primadonna, which had no affiliation to the imagine series!! that's why it's so good!! The original also had a 4th route for Naomi that ubisoft cut but that's a whole other rant. anyway glad someone else understands the complexities of this ambitious cinematic masterpiece : )
