Hypertext world building + science fiction physics simulation = a very ambitious update to the old adventure game formula. Basically none of the bullshit puzzles usually contaminating these games (albeit still a few underwhelming ones). Everything fits together very concisely and it is impressive how the universe mostly expands inwards (both literally and metaphorically) during exploration.
