The constant jumpscare noises become immediately grating and the game's overall plot structure/objectives is a mess. Why have the ship as this interconnected place if all that's done storywise is "go here Issac"?

Game takes a lot of elements from other games and that's totally fine but I wish they meshed together better. There's kind of a reason why people don't do Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 2 at the same time imo, they're two very different approaches to horror that don't really work together well.

Body dismemberment is neat and about 2 minutes of the story are neat, but mostly to me this feels like a rough draft to something better.
