An improvement on its predecessor in many ways, a downgrade in others. The story is well told, if flawed. The gameplay is an improvement across the board.
The combat is absolutely ruthless and exhilarating. The stealth is fun too, but when you crank the difficulty up to hard or survivor and play it like a shooter, it delivers some of the best TPS action I've experienced in a game period.
