This being two separate stories in one, I was left feeling split about the overall experience. Alex's Hope was a short but profound story about finding little things that make life worth continuing even in the midst of despair. Alex's Solitude, on the other hand, was a trite high school drama filled with cliché characters, a less sympathetic MC, and an undercurrent of "alt/goth aesthetic = bad" that feels like something straight from the 2000's.

This game was slow to load, and broke/froze in less than a minute of playtime. I had this game sitting in my hard drive for a long while, so I can't say anything about a story I neither remember nor could even experience.
