A great souls-like (Sekiro-like?) that pairs one of my favorite historical settings (Three Kingdoms China) with some great mechanics and exploration. I love that they actually made exploration matter mechanically, and the whole morale system when paired with the combat is a big hit. The story is largely whatever, but my fondness for the personas of that historical era make up for it. The controls and combat are just fast enough to often feel a little bit out of control, but it all comes together in a satisfying way, and I look forward to future entries and DLC. The main sore point for the game was the lack of variety. It seems like you're facing the same 20 types of enemies through villages and castles for the entire game. That being said, the bosses were uniformly great and overall it's a game that's easy to recommend.
