Very obviously the best game in the trilogy for me. Actually follows up on the series's mystery novel roots and ties together every loose thread, not just from this game but the whole trilogy, with a fantastic final case to boot.

The PW series is still kind of obviously laying the groundwork for future mystery ADVs/VNs to really run with (see: the Shu Takumi work that is still my favorite, Ghost Trick), but I feel like here all the promises made with this setup are fully realized. 1 is really short in comparison (with RFTA tacked on, it's longer, but that whole case just feels like a separate game honestly lol), and 2 doesn't deliver in connecting most of its cases into any sort of arc, but everything's working as it should here. Not sure I'd call this the best ADV of all time but it's still pretty damn good!!
