Aria of Sorrow's gameplay is as fantastic as its story and dialogue are hilariously awful
I was legitimately surprised by what a great time this was! I couldn't put it down and 100%ed it over a couple days. Great weapons, fun enemies, a TON of abilities to unlock, etc. Everything you need in a Metroidvania is here! But this localization is abysmal. They translated "Thor Hammer" (Tōruhama) as "Tallhammer", if that's any indication. Even if the dialogue was less stilted, the story would still be an awkwardly handled mess. NOA Localization has come a long way!
