Picked this back up over a vacation where all I had was my Switch. Played the spirit/medium mode almost for a clear, and had a good time, but decided there's still something about it that doesn't sit right with me. It's not just the sterile enemy designs; there's something about the gameplay that feels off. The accelerating and decelerating bullets, the hitbox that feels just a tad too large for what the game asks of you (or maybe the visual indicator isn't quite accurate?). I dunno -- I love the blastbeats during bosses, and many of the patterns are quite fun, but it's missing an x-factor to get me past all of its nagging little flaws.
