@WuPac That's another one that I have but just haven't played yet. I used to play the second one so much as a kid though, which is weird because apparently it's a lot worse than the first.

Lego Indy 2 is when they introduced the level builder, so all the levels in it are extremely short, with quite a few being based off the level builder. I don't particularly think its a lot worse than the first (not a big fan of the systems of Lego Indy games), but its a big experiment to with the structure of the Lego games at the time.

Yeah, I would honestly say the second isn't even worth playing at all whereas the first is in the S tier of lego games

@Snigglegros Oh yeah that makes a lot of sense, I'm not the biggest fan of short levels within LEGO games, I think most of the time they turn out quite shit (Skywalker Saga) so I'll most likely dislike Indy 2 when I replay it; and yeah I feel like Indy is probably the least interesting IP to make a LEGO game out of, so I can see why you don't like the gameplay elements, things like Star Wars and Marvel/DC lend themselves better to the games imo

@WuPac I look forward to finally playing it then, hopefully it holds up!

Yeah Lego Indy games have less uniqueness between characters I feel because they have the tool system allowing you to do the usual stuff in Lego games. While its cool most characters can do anything, I think it takes quite a bit of the replay value from Free Play mode. Thats why I think Star Wars, Batman, and Harry Potter works well. Pirates of the Carribbean also sucks for this reason, but also I find that game deathly boring. My next game up is Marvel so I hope I find that good cause im totally prepared for Lego Harry years 5-7 to be the last good one.

@Snigglegros Yeah I completely agree, that's literally the whole reason I hated The LEGO Movie game, it's so boring because there's hardly any variety. Have fun with LEGO Marvel Superheroes though, that game is the embodiment of peak, it's so charming.
