(Note: This review is old and likely doesn't match my current opinion. Will likely rewrite in the future)

I had a lot of fun with this game. There were some areas I wasn't a fan of, and it sometimes hard to explore due to the scarceness of bonfires in this game, but overall I didn't mind much.

All of the areas felt unique and it was so cool seeing them interact. I'll never forget the time I was walking around in the Depths and exploring the various tunnels, until I went out one, opened a door at the end, and found myself back at Firelink Shrine. Moments like that were really cool, even if they weren't as common in the second half of the game.

I also really loved all of the bosses and especially their designs. I can recall all of them from the top of my head since they're just so neat.

I didn't do the DLC, but from what I've heard it was good too. I will say however that the graphics were not that great, even for a remaster.

My favorite part of this game was the final boss. I won't spoil it, but while it's obvious who it is, the music and general emotions of the fight caught me super off guard, and made the fight a lot better despite overall being pretty simple.

Overall this game was great and I would suggest it to anyone, as long as you're okay with some challenge.
