Despite the lack of emotional ties I felt toward the characters unlike the base campaign, Phantom Liberty is a great DLC, and the care given when making it shows. Boss fights are more common, Johnny is way more lively than usual, side characters are more interesting, and the gameplay of Dogtown is way more interesting than the rest of the map. This is mostly due to there being no NCPD scanner objectives, and instead there are a few lovingly crafted enemy dungeons with unique loot.

Also, the new base game ending, the Tower, is probably my favourite ending in Cyberpunk.
