i like video games.
i play games mostly on 3ds and vita (consoles i actually have), where possible.
otherwise, i often emulate.
ranking system:
1 star: bad game. i didnt like this game.
2 stars: mid game. its a forgettable game.
3 stars: its a game. its fine or neutral game; i might just be ambivalent about it.
4 stars: a good, solid, game; well executed.
5 stars: a top shelf, home run game; an all-timer. kino. i dont care if its a 'masterpiece' or 'perfect'.
(another way to think of it would be using an s, a, b, c, and f tier.)
i try to divorce personal taste from the quality i perceive in a game (not always successfully), so some of my favourites may not be 5 stars.
edit: i am working on getting a wii u (plus backwards compat titles) and a ps3 (plus backwards compat titles) up and running, alongside a ps2, so i won't need to computer emulate these titles.
