I remember playing this at the Wii U kiosk at a Best Buy when the Wii U was still new. The minigame I played had you launching nose arrows at invading robot Warios and using pepper to power them up.

I guess when you're young you don't question things as much.

I mean, it's not the worst sequel to a beloved mobile game that fails to live up to its predecessor largely due to a bogged-down structure and an over-reliance on micro-transactions that released in 2013 but I question who thought this was a good idea

Nomura will make this game canon in Kingdom Hearts 4, just you wait

Parts of this are better than anything in 64 or TTYD. It comes really close to greatness in a lot of areas and sometimes it achieves it, but there are a few key spots where it misses the mark. Which is a shame, because like I said, the good parts are amazing.

I don't personally mind the newer direction (as someone who has not played Sticker Star), but I would prefer to see a return to form following the TTYD remake. Here's hoping.
