It's a really cool concept in terms of the story and the set of ever increasing misfits, each with their own usefulness to the group, and the atmosphere built throughout the game is exceptional. The really good thing about the gameplay is that there often many ways to get past guards, especially towards the ending, where there's a lot of ways to use your surroundings and equipment.

However, the big problem with the gameplay is just how unforgiving it is for small mistakes, which I guess adds towards realism (step out of your cover and get an arrow shot clean through you), but also makes for a very frustrating gaming experience sometimes, when you need to repeat the same sequence of things again and again and again.

The other bad thing is with the story - the characters don't seem to grow as much as they should. Without many spoilers, the main relationship is improved, yes, and many friends are gained, but Amicia never learns from her mistakes and continues to exhibit the same flaws, as seen in the epilogue. I guess Hugo experiences quite a lot of growth.

Overall, with some frustrations from both the story and the gameplay, it's a really fun atmospheric ride.
