I was never a big fan of 2D Mario. I mean... i liked the games, they were fun enough to play every once in a while, but they just didn't click with me.
Well, after shitting themselves for 15 years straight since the NSMB series' debut. Nintendo did the unthinkable:
What if we made an above average 2D Mario?
Wonder is bursting with creativity from the second you get control over Mario. Everything in this game is an improvement over the NSMB games, except for the music which is mostly forgettable imo. It's honestly shocking how much this game does compared to it's predecessors, it's such an insane jump in quality AND quantity that one starts to question DAMN where has this game been all my life?
