It's a good remaster and the changes in combat are very much welcome. I also did not mind the new VA who seems to put so many people off, which I can see why. However there's only so much you can do with dialogues as terrible as the ones present in this game.
The game pushes the FF7 lore way too far with the introduction of Genesis which serves absolutely no purpose but to be flashy for the sake of being flashy.
Overall this could've been a great game but the writing is terrible and sounds more like fanfiction. Sometimes some things are better left alone or unexplained and in this case I wish this game was not part of the canon.
