Crisis Core's foundation as a handheld game is ever apparent in this remaster. Its core design; from the hallway levels (in both main and side missions), sub-par stories, and the over-abundance of filler content keeps this game from truly being great, or something even akin to the game which started it all.
By far, the most powerful content to be experienced here is the game's ending. It's difficult to recall another finale as emotionally devastating for me as this one was; we'll keep living on Zack, embracing our dreams and upholding our honor as we go.
If only the entire game had been made with this much detail and attention.
