This game is carried heavily on it's beautiful theme and aesthetics, while the gameplay itself is very mediocre and bland. Too many recycled areas, too many puzzles that are similar with turning valves left-right and easy.

Combat is very repetitive and ranged combat absolutely annihilates for several reasons, in melee range you can easily be interrupted during your comboes as you're locked into the animation, you can't parry/dodge during attack and even if you do both there are no invincibility frames so that you can still be hit. If you do 3 different combos in succession, you enable Super Wu Shu mode that slows down time and enables special abilities, but I very soon hit a point at level 30 (and up to 50!) where my guns did so much damage with normal shooting vs doing combos, it just wasn't worth it.

I would only recommend this game if it's very heavily discounted and even then, there are just way better open-world games out there that you should try beforehand.
