It's weird how Cold War got more love than Vanguard and MWII

Season 1 of Cold War wasn't fantastic, but it was certainly better than this. Black Ops Cold War - Season 2 adds on just as much content as the first season's major update did, but the quality is even worse than it was last time. The battle pass is the same old "whatever" it was before, yet the new maps and modes are leaving much to be desired.

Seeing game modes like Gun Game return is nice, but that's contrasted with some really bad stuff, too. The new map is frankly garbage, containing the same old lazy 3-lane structure but with nothing all too interesting about it other than it integrates a slight bit of verticality to the whole affair.

After that, we get to the major zombies addition: Outbreak, which seemed like a cool concept for CoD zombies, yet is instead a boring slog with repetitive mission structures to keep things interesting. The maps are too big to make sense, zombie-killing action fun, and there's barely anything here in terms of interesting mission structures to "progress" through this mode; absolute garbage.

I really hope that mid-season updates really pick this game up, because Season 2 of Cold War is the biggest non-update I've seen to CoD since like Black Ops 4's post-launch content.
