Not as good as Road Trip but still entertaining. They reworked the handling model, slightly changed the parts system, and scaled down the maps to be more dense.
The hopping and wheelie mechanics are great. Courses are designed with them on mind, and are on brand with the toys they're based on. Courses are big, and have multiple paths for different gadgets, such as heli-blades and hovercrafts. They can too big at times, which makes early game a slog, and some tracks lack detail in some areas. (e.g: The factory course is full of gray vent corridors.) Thankfully, the long courses are 2 laps.

They went for a brake to drift handling style this time around. Road Trip's moon physics are still present, and momentum is weird. If you hit a wall at a high speed, it takes a while for the that momentum to halt. All Choro Q games from E-game and BHE commit the crime of making your starting performance absolutely terrible, as if it's a spiteful parody of Gran Turismo. You can't upgrade the steering and chassis weight like in Road Trip. Had they not make the car feel really heavy with the weird moon physics, this could've been a step up.
Unlike Road Trip, the maps are smaller. It's arguably more denser than road trip, but I feel that they're still too big with some barren areas.
The game is just charming. Cars tilt as they talk to you, and the writing is entertaining due to wonky and blunt localization ("You have absolutely no taste in music." = an npc upon being denied a place in a band). Some of these side quest storylines at times try hard for a game about cute talking cars, and that adds to the charm.
This is game is pretty great, and I wish it wasn't canned for the states.
