This was a pretty formative game in my younger years. Before I discovered Tokyo Xtreme Racer, I found this game in a hotel arcade. Everything about it mystified me.
What other racing game had this tone? This atmosphere? The soundtrack? Fighting game health bars in a racing game? 20XX? Everyone's addressed as Mr. and Ms. And it's based on a comic that wasn't (fan) translated yet. What is a Toyota Celsior and why does it's driver love me?
