Alpha 27, the one planet in the galaxy that is fit for human habitation. For many years, the space observation system here was used for a wide range of research. One day, horrifying news arrived- a giant comet was hurtling toward the solar system, on its present course, it was going to colide with the moon. and then….Nothing! For some strange reason the humans and the moon seemed completely unaffected. The humans were unaware that a new nightmare had already begun. The giant comet had changed shape- it was not a comet at all, it was an alien mothership!

Possibly as mediocre as a horizontal shmup can get. Fairly tough, solid sense of progression and some very basic power-ups. Nothing really stands out about it.
You slowly make your way to the moon, you fight a lot of skeleton creatures. Some backgrounds are real nice, but on a system where every second game is a shmup it gets lost in the crowd.

My favorite shmup on the PCE that isn't Soldier Blade or Air Zonk. It doesn't do anything special outside of most of the bosses being skeleton creatures, with the grande finale being gasp a skeleton followed by four giant ass skulls. It gets points just for making me laugh...I suppose sometimes all you really need for a final encounter is the symbol of death itself.
Helps that it isn't brutally difficult like most shmups. I can see this being a game I pop in around Halloween alongside something like cotton for some spooky 16 bit fun.
