A pretty light-weighted, rogue-like RPG game with some management elements. You found your own realm and help it grow by raiding dungeons with your character of available race and class. Since it's turn-based and the monsters are only responsive to your moves, it requires you to put strategy into how you clear the dungeon. It's also more of a puzzle to help you tip the odds, hence the puzzle mode added to give you better tips for future dungeon raids. Desktop Dungeons can be considered a coffee-break game, due to making quick dungeon runs for growing your realm further.

A puzzle game disguised as a roguelike disguised as a dungeon crawler. there are a lot of intricacies and nuances that I still haven't worked out yet but I am enjoying mastering the basics! I need to give this one some more time but the fundamentals are quite solid.

Sehr linear und viel trial and error.
