A port of Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
A version of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, including the added content in Afternoon of Darkness, was released for Microsoft Windows via Steam on February 24, 2016, retitled as Disgaea PC. The initial release was panned by critics on launch due to its many bugs, which included persistent crashes, save file loss, and poor performance, even on high-end PCs. A patch was released soon afterwards that fixed many of the bugs. Another patch was released for the game later that added the four characters previously exclusive to Disgaea DS. Players who bought the game during the 2016 Steam Summer Sale would also earn free in-game cosmetic items for Valve’s first person shooter game Team Fortress 2.

I'm having much more fun with Disgaea 2
This game had the possibility of aging so badly from when I first played it back in 2004. Fortunately, it still holds up somewhat. Of course, the writing suffers from "Anime Aughts-itis", a terrible condition I've just coined. A lot of segments in the writing have not aged well at all, and obviously, that's to be expected for this kind of game. Everything else about this game feels barebones from its successors, but that's just how it goes for a series, does it not?
It's weird to go back to this game and see how thoroughly it preaches a message about morality and humanity, and then you get a bad sex joke to break the mood.

You like the gridan game?
Big fan of this game ever since I played the original on the PS2 game and I had focused only on the main character, Leharl, unlike what I did here where I'd got a super-powered Majin.
The story is about Leharl, the son of the Overlord of hell who has died and he's been asleep for many, MANY years and missing out on the power-struggle that has been going on in hell and Etna, a demoness, decides to try and wake him up and assist him in his rise up the ranks to rake his father's place.
The game is a nice advancement on the original, adding all kinds of additional stuff, though also missing later QOL systems, however, it's still got a lot of the same fun elements that I loved and I am quite obsessed in picking up and trying to collect every and all items in the game for the list that there is.
I have had a lot of fun with this game, trying to bolster up all my units and getting ever more powerful from spending hours and completing item world after world. Lots of fun and I can recommend this to everyone who enjoys RPGs and the potential endless levelling system in this game too! Not to mention the fun story and humour make this a very addictive and fun experience.
I love the cute art too, along with the fun concepts of the other world along with how the human souls move on and possess the penguin suits of the iconic and hilarious Prinnys!

Disgaea es un obra maestra de los SRPG. (Versión un poquito peor que la de DS)
Tiene una historia excelente, con mucha comedia y que se hace super amena.
Tiene una cantidad absurda de contenido, entre personajes jugables, equipo, armas, objetos curativos, compañeros, niveles, postgame ridículamente basto, ofreciendo mil variedades a la hora de completar los niveles junto a una banda sonora excepcional.
La jugabilidad es el típico juego de combates por turnos pero con varias características que lo hacen único, y con un sistema de combos muy roto y divertido.
Esta versión de PC añade mil cosas y arregla algunos problemas, aparte de traer un filtro HD, todo esto por muy poco precio en rebajas.
Es una bomba de juego para ser la primera entrega.
Lo malo que podría sacar de esta versión de PC, es que no trae un modo x2/x4 de velocidad lo que puede hacer que sea bastante pesado farmear y otra tontearía es que no viene de base en español, existe un parche creado por fans que lo soluciona, pero muy mala idea no sacarlo en español también existiendo una versión de DS que si esta en castellano.
