Dodge 'Em is a 1980 Atari 2600 video game, a driving game based on Sega's Head On (1979). The player controls one car and has to drive counter-clockwise, avoiding computer-controlled cars whose sole aim is to produce a head-on collision. The player's car can travel at two speeds, a 'normal' speed which is the same speed as computer-controlled cars, or if the player presses the controller button, his or her car travels at a 'fast' speed double its normal speed. The computer-controlled cars have only one speed. Players change lanes by pushing the controller in the appropriate direction when their car is near one of the gaps in the roadway.

The simplistic design of just two cars avoiding each other in a segmented circle is honestly a bit creative, although I don't know exactly how much replayability you can extract from this.

Played as part of Atari 50.

It's kinda fun for maybe a minute but once you realize that the computer opponent is deterministic and that the best way to win is to just memorize a path and execute on it, it very quickly lost my interest. Still kinda fun for that minute though!

Oh trust me, I would LOVE to dodge 'em, game, but this other fucker must be suicidal or some shit, cause every time I try to do anything, he just HAS to get in the way.

Game #201

Feels like a pacman game except you have a friend who's playing at the same time who constantly tries to screw you over by driving into you. It starts off fun but then just gets annoying, especially when the AI driver decides to go the same path as you. It's a mixed bag. Played this on Atari 50.
