A port of US AAF Mustang
The game is a very standard horizontal scrolling shoot em' up with only one type of available weapon and a bomb weapon. Players took on a fictional campaign in a World War II setting as a USAAF fighter pilot in a titular P-51 Mustang against the Nazi Luftwaffe and the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service.

Replaying some Genesis shmups and testing out the ones I never did. Started with Fire Mustang cause it's pretty easy fat to chew and has a good 'flow' to it. But besides that, there's nothing you haven't seen here in other better shmups, and the rank system can make the already-obnoxious multi-boss battles a nightmare.
Pretty thoroughly subpar and uninteresting shmup, but not necessarily awful. It's also very, very short, so doesn't really wear on you. Final boss is annoying though, has way too many bullets on screen.
