Gameplay seemed grindy and likely to get quite repetitive considering they advertise at least 40h of gameplay. I found the art style bland and the story didn't show any promise. Admittedly, I have little experience with this genre, so it might just not be my cup of tea. On the plus side, the PS3 version is 1080p/60 (or close to it), so it's surprisingly sharp and fluid for the system.

Rainbow Moon is like an old-school RPG lover's dream... or nightmare. It's got classic turn-based battles, tons of loot, and a massive world to explore. But man, the grind is real in this one! Leveling up is super slow, the story is basic, and it can feel way too repetitive. If you're looking for a nostalgic JRPG-style challenge and don't mind the grind, you might get a kick out of it, but be prepared to sink a whole lot of time into this one.

This was more fun than I expected it to be- I purchased it on a whim. Despite being pretty ugly, I put a decent time into it.
