For the first time, I've seen 4 protagonists in a point and click adventure game. Making this game was a huge work for the developers I can see. But there are so many things to do with different protagonists that it becomes frustrating and you can not complete it without watching walkthroughs every minute. But the story had a lot of twists and it was enjoyable.

As always Wadjeteye Games have delivered another amazing game with a new inventive UI and a awesome story with many twists and turns as well as asking big questions about how all new technology has the capacity for peace, but there will always be people who will use it for their own purposes.

I highly recommend this and any other game by Wadjeteye Games to anyone who loves point and click adventure games.

Edit: Like any thought-provoking game, the ending, regardless of choice, is not a perfect or happy situation as both choices have their issues and especially in this game where a new discovery leads to the invention of something that could be used as great scientific research, but interested parties are far more interested in how it creates a total and complete destruction with no byproducts, unlike nuclear or biological weapons and with the potential to be a lot more damaging too.

Like all the games from these people I've played so far, I loved it and want to sing it's praises by the only medium I have at the moment in form of written reviews.

So in order to perform an action, this game needs you to actually, how can i say it... create the idea of performing the action? This so-called memory system has to be one of the most cursed mechanics i have ever witnessed not just in a point n’click adventure, but in videogames in general.

Completed with 100% of achievements unlocked and both endings. Another sci-fi outing from Wadjet Eye, though in this case with a more contemporary/near-future setting. Puzzles are as enjoyable as usual, with a nice balance between those which are object-based and those arising from conversations, and without becoming too obscure. Resonance differentiates itself, however, with the multiple playable characters, each with specific characteristics that make them suitable for particular scenarios - it's satisfying to work out how best to approach each situation from the increased range of options that this presents. The plot does a good job of driving the game forward and maintaining interest throughout, though with less prominence of deeper themes it feels less meaningful that some of Wadjet Eye's other games.

The much-ballyhooed memory inventory is an interesting innovation in the adventure game genre, even if it brings in its own problems with non-obvious interactions, and I admire the story for some of the paths it goes down—particularly with regards to ethics in scientific research—even if the endings undercut that some.

(Also, the [I don't want to put a spoiler warning on this review] is kind of orientalist, despite the game going out of its way to mock orientalism. There's similar "hmm" moments with Anna's childhood. In general, the game's a mixed bag.)

There's a sort of "former condescending nerd, reformed" feeling to a lot of the puzzles, which is definitely on-theme; it's both mildly obnoxious and really engaging, presenting puzzles where the obvious adventure gamey solution fails because the way the actual system you're engaging with works is a little less simplified than it normally would be. The blueprint puzzle made me roll my eyes a little in this regard, but the lab section and the magnet-based take on a wolf, goat, and cabbage-style problem were particular highlights that made me feel more clever for solving them than most adventure game puzzles do.

It's a good, solid game, but you can see the potential for a great one in there.
