Saboteur is a creative, multi-level shooter developed by Howard Scott Warshaw in 1983 but never released. You are a robot named Hotot. A strange race of blue aliens is using your planet to launch a galaxy-destroying warhead. With the help of a yellow birdlike race, you must destroy the rocket, disarm the warhead, and prevent your planet's destruction!

Probably never released because it really doesn't feel finished. You can play it, but it's a small mix of simplistic minigames not amounting to much .

Played as part of Atari 50.

Pretty solid for a 2600 game! Being locked to 8 directions is a tad annoying, and the second stage doesn't really work out, but the first and third stages are pretty neat.

This is Saboteur bitch!! We clown in this muthafucka take yo sensitive ass back to Asteroids

Shoot at enemies that are coming from above while a weird rocket think starts rising up from the side, you can above and below you. It certainly feels like a game that didn't really have an established idea of what the point of it was. You can move left and right within the area you're stationed, and shoot above and below you while enemies quickly move left and right and some shoot at you, it's both difficult simple. But really releasing this prototype in 2022 is more so as a novelty rather than a game you'd actually want to play if you had an ATARI 2600 back then, but still for what it is and because it's a prototype I can give it a pass but it's not getting anything above 1.5 stars.

Played on Atari 50.
