It's taking longer to enter these into Backloggd than it took to Platinum them.

You play as Hiroki Ogasawara, a photographer who is trying to enjoy a nice week away from work at a ryokan in the countryside. Unfortunately (or fortunately), he's surrounded by a harem of cute succubi who just won't leave him alone! Even when he returns to work, he's got a new famous lady after him. We also get to know more about the succubus world, which I found interesting.

Visuals

Sakura Succubus 2 is done in vibrant anime style. I really liked how it looked. Of course, there’s lots of big boobies, but they’re not overly exaggerated, which I appreciated. They all look like “real” busty women, not just walking knockers. I was a little annoyed that Hazel was described as having tan skin, but she's just as white as the others (excluding Marina, who has darker skin).

I did get the 18+ patch for this one, so I was treated to some extra special visuals. Wink wink.

Sound Effects + Music

There’s a nice variety of background music in Sakura Succubus 2. And it actually suits the story this time around, unlike the first game. The music does change with every location change, so you’re never hearing the same song for too long. The tracks do repeat though, but that’s to be expected.

There’s no voice acting at all. Not even little one liners or sighs. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but I find it does take away from the experience a bit.

Gameplay + Controls

Sakura Succubus 2 is a visual novel with very few choices and no additional gameplay. It’s easy to read and get sucked into. Just press Enter and enjoy! There are only two endings. Unlike the first game, the achievements aren't all automatic. You did need to choose the correct options, but it doesn't really change the story.

Replayability
Being a visual novel, Sakura Succubus 2 is replayable. Even though there are only a handful of choices, it’s fun to see how selecting something different changes the story. It’ll just be some changes in dialogue, since the story is the same all the way through. There are two endings, but they only depend on your final choice, so just make a save, then choose the other option.

Overall
Sakura Succubus 2 was better than the first one and I'm looking forward to more of the girls, as well as meeting the princess!
