Street Fighter Zero 3

released on Nov 06, 1999

The Sega Saturn port of Street Fighter Alpha 3 uses all the features from the PlayStation version and the extra RAM of the console to include more frames and sprites, making it near arcade-perfect. Similarly to the Dreamcast version, Guile, Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma are immediately selectable, with the latter sharing a slot with his regular counterpart and playable via a special button combination. While the World Tour and Survival modes are virtually unchanged from the PlayStation version, the Dramatic Battle mode received some improvements with the inclusion of a 2-player mode and the addition of the Reverse Dramatic Battle mode, in which the player faces two computer-controlled characters simultaneously.

i've always had mixed feelings about SFA3. it's clearly a great game, and the home console ports have a lot of fun content. however, i never really cared for how this game played (especially considering how much i love SFA2).

i do remember the last few areas of World Tour making me really salty as a kid when i had played the PS1 version, so that's that lol (i did eventually beat Shin Akuma tho).
