The fun of SuperMash doesn't come necessarily from the gameplay - which is rarely that good - but instead comes from the knowledge of the idea. The entertainment in watching a game create these random mashups of genres and mechanics and the surprise in playing out one of the short (and bad) "games" and seeing that it does actually work.

It's more of an oddity and a toy possible more than a game, but I respect its creation at the very least.

this game just launched with too little content. in an hour you can see it all and the devs promised more but then never delivered (i think)

Tiene una premisa muy chula, pero desgraciadamente solo eso, la idea es genial pero se hace repetitivo el modo historia es difícil de completar por que es muy críptico ,una pequeña decepción... no me lo he pasado pero es bastante malillo

One thing about this game I'll always remember is (CE-34878-0) SuperMash

I don't know what is wrong the game if needs another patch they haven't made or if the one put on the Limited Run Games is faulty, but I got this error probably like a total of 10 times, always after finishing a mashed game.

Now with that out of the way, this game is actually really good to a point, the best comparison I can give is this is kinda like 9-Volt's stages in Warioware but the whole game is like this and the levels are longer than like what 10 seconds. for those who don't know, SuperMash is basically a game where a system generates 2 different game genres and puts them together to make a whole but small game. This novelty is actually pretty good not a tad bit shallow at times. some genres don't mix very well while others give you a hybrid of what you'd expect, on top of this you get good glitches that help you and bad glitches that hinder you depending on the level and difficulty you pick.

Baseline all that sounds really good, you get to see characters in games they don't belong and such it's a really fun time with excellent music, can't really compliment the graphics much because each genre of game is drawn or pixeled or however you expect it would look back in the 32-bit and below systems.

Aside from the game crashing on me a lot between most of the mash-ups, there's also a very shallow story of a brother and sister running a game store and stuff happens, not gonna explain it, it's extremely weak of a story and tends to take you of the game you came to actually play.

If you find the game on sell definitely give it a try, I don't know if it runs better on the Switch or Xbox or PC, but it definitely didn't run well on my PS4 aside from the crashing I would experience the frame rate skipping at times and stuttering.

i thought the concept was super interesting at first but it turned out to be really bland
