released on Dec 31, 1995

A classic western story, but in Disney's cartoons style. Mr. Vyle, an evil squire, controls a border country town, beautiful girls, in this case Melissa, included. But Tequila (Terence Hill alias a lynx) and Boom Boom (Bud Spencer alias a brown bear) arrive to stop him and his plans, and save the maiden.

The positive surprise is the presence of unique quick-time events that integrate well into specific sequences, without any intrusive cues prompting the player to press any mouse button.

The negative surprise encompasses everything else, from well-executed but overly repetitive animations to a series of issues with triggers (e.g., there's a certain animated sequence at the beginning that will play every time you drink alcohol, even when it no longer makes sense), from a very uninspired writing style (the character's thoughts on examined objects are almost always identical and flat) to a significant lack of dialogue options.

And once again, we can't raise the Italian flag this time

It's cute, but extremely hampered by the jank of being a DOS point and click. Lots of sound system problems. But the art is fairly cute and it feels like a direct-to-vhs don bluth knockoff, which is with a positive or negative depending where your proclivities lie.

The really surprising part is that it has quick time events and they actually work pretty well? Which is cool for a western game. It suffers a lot from the setting, which is a very Hollywood western locale. But it's pretty surprising the quality of cute saturday morning furry art on display
