More in-depth review of Gravure for You! as a whole

Gravure for You! Vol. 2 is another case of more of the same, unsurprisingly, this time focusing on Mami with a school theme. Unlike Vol. 1 we have the choice between two outfits (mind-boggling), the school outfit or the school swimsuit, I guess this one is a bit better than the last one since you get more and I personally like the school outfit better over the swimsuit from Vol. 1, though the classroom makes it all kinda dark and I think the beach location just worked better for the models.
Outside of the two outfits, we got a new selection of tracks to listen to, a new PV for Vol. 3 (Vol. 1 did not have a PV for Vol. 2) and a unique version of the Loading song with Mami singing it in a classroom with the school outfit.

Now for the anime episodes bundled in, this time we got 3 episodes instead of 2, and none of them features a school theme ironically enough.
Episode 3 is an episode about Yukiho fighting her fear of dogs and men, a very cute episode.
Episode 4 is about Chiaya being forced to work on cheap TV shows with the others to gain popularity and an image even though she kept malding and whining about it the whole episode, overall a very fun episode but Chiaya should stop complaining about everything.
And finally, Episode 5 is the usual SOL beach episode of them fucking around on the beach and not working toward being awesome idols, a forgettable episode.

Again, for 10$ it does the job as a Gravure game.

definitely a step down from volume 1 altogether, and the bar was already pretty low. While it obviously uses the same poses as the previous volume, for some reason they got rid of all the sitting poses. While it definitely doesn't make as much sense for the idols to be lying around in school uniforms on the floor, more pose variety for pictures is always appreciated, yanno? This volume tries to make up for it by having there be two selectable outfits for the idols, but since the backdrop is the same either way, it doesn't really add much... The OST doesn't have as many good picks as the first volume either. I'd say that so far we are off to a pretty lukewarm start for this whole idol gravure business. Not really a lot of reason to play this like at all.
