The Last Stand: Union City

released on Jul 29, 2011

The third game in the series; it takes place during and shortly after the events of The Last Stand 2, and follows the story of a citizen of Union City, whose return to Union City after a hard day's work is rudely interrupted when they crash into a zombie. Now, they must fight their way through the zombie hordes in search of their spouse and after that, escape Union City. Unlike the previous games in the series, it is a RPG, though it retains the same controls and 2D side-view perspective. The player does not control Jack and instead creates their own custom survivor, who can level up by gaining XP from quests, killing enemies, and scavenging, after which the player is allowed to upgrade their stats and skill sets as they see fit.

The best flash game, hands down.

Played as part of the Legacy Collection, the final (to my knowledge) of the Flash classics is a legitimate expansion in about every way to the original game. The RPG elements, while quite standard, make for a more rewarding experience. Unfortunately, since this is a Flash game (ported with even more issues from what I can tell), the unbearable lag that often presents itself made it impossible for me to want to finish. For what it is, I enjoyed what I could, but Union City needs a better engine to prove capable of being the game it desires.

Esse é um brabo dos flashs :face_with_monocle:

Honestly pretty impressive that this was a free flash game. Remember having a blast with it back in the day.
